Highlights from the 17th World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer

From July 1^st till July 4^th, Barcelona was host to the 17^th world congress on gastrointestinal cancer. The meeting again proved to be the premier global event in the field, encompassing malignancies affecting every component of the gastrointestinal tract and aspects related to the care of patients with gastrointestinal cancer, including screening, diagnosis and the latest management options for common and uncommon tumours. Highlights from the 2014 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium

From 9–13th of December, San Antonio, TX was again transformed into the world’s capital in the fight against breast cancer. The 2014 CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium was a joint presentation of the Cancer Therapy & Research Centre at the University of Texas Health Science Centre at San Antonio, the American Association for Cancer Research, and Baylor College of Medicine. This years’ meeting drew more than 6,000 participants from all over the globe and again proved to be the number one breast cancer meeting in the world. This report will highlight eight key studies presented during the meeting.
